* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 740 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Panama City, Lynn Haven, Panama City Beach, Callaway,
Springfield, Hiland Park, Tyndall Air Force Base, Parker,
Edgewater Gulf Beach, Bahama Beach, Bid-a-Wee, West Bay, West
Panama City, Gulf Lagoon Beach, Gulf Resort Beach, Biltmore
Beach, Magnolia Beach, St Andrews State Park and Laird.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Horse Creek Near Arcadia at SR 72 affecting DeSoto County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Horse Creek near Arcadia at SR 72.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The access road to Hidden Oak is
impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 7.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Sunday
morning and continue rising to 12.2 feet Sunday evening.
Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.2
feet on 11/24/1997.
